Unfortunately not Deniss' best day for jumps but lovely choreo sq and spins. Sorry to hear he has had health challenges.

I really hope he continues - he's joyous to watch. It's been such a difficult season for him in so many ways. I'd much rather he finishes his competitive career on a high note.

it is really hard to perform when people are moving on... no idea if it's his case... but the focus sometimes shifts or gets lost...

He has had the worse season of his 15 year career. His free skate to Bond didn't get music clearance, funding issues, coaching issues, trained alone in Fribourg, and he has had injuries. But he went to all competitions, knowing he was not ready. He never gave up and even with unfortunate skates he gave his all.

I read he plans to at least skate one more season because this season was rough.
