Fun exhibition skates - submit one of your favorites - may be cool, silly, clever, silly.
It is time for some summertime fun.
Tag a fellow member or two to add the next ones... you can tag me if you do not know who to tag as I have several to share...

I submit Madi & Evan - Wear Sunscreen

I tag @4everchan and @elektra blue to submit the next entries

I'm not a good person to tag, as I generally find "comic" exhibition programs long on concept but short on execution. I find myself skipping them after watching them once or twice. But I make an exception for Marchei/Hotorek
(and Kung Fu Panda).

I tag @BlissfulSynergy

as you probably know, I don't watch galas so I had to go far back memory lane

hotarek is a fun exhibition indeed

LOL! Back in the day, Plushy's muscleman number was a riot. I think Mikhail Shaidorov's exhibition version of Kung Fu Panda this season was very funny and cute. Although the Minions (Despicable Me) sp by Tomàs-Llorenç Guarino Sabaté was not an exhibition, it was funny, cool, and well-choreographed.

Canadian Gary Beacom created some of the most clever, amazing, and funny exhibitions ever, particularly the one where he and Gia Guddat skated on their hands and their feet!! 🙃

My all-time favorite fun program was a pro competition performance by Scott Williams, skating to Nirvana's It Smells Like Teen Spirit. 😂 Choreographed by the very creative and dearly missed Brian Wright. ❤️

I tag 🤔 @Mathman and @Diana Delafield

Um. Still not having achieved fluency in computerese, I had to appeal to Google Chat to find out what being "tagged" meant. I gather I'm supposed to join in and list my favourite show programs, not easy to do since I virtually never watch the galas in person or on TV, or go to the travelling shows.

Having thought about it, there are only two programs I've seen that stuck in my mind, so I guess that means they count here:

I saw Toller Cranston do his Sabre Dance program several times both in competition and later when he adapted it to shows and it was always a big hit. The other memorable one, and why I don't know except that it had a lot of clever comedy and acrobatics in it which one didn't associate with Russian pairs, was Selezneva and Makarov's 1990 Worlds gala program to "Hit the Road, Jack". I did take a look and found it on Youtube, but it's getting on for 1 a.m. and my brain is too frazzled trying to navigate the costume voting to figure out how to make a link here. Look it up if you haven't seen it. :bed:

S& M "Hit The Road Jack"

Toller "Sabre Dance"
I couldn't find the EX version

And the Marchei Hotarek ex link is not viewable in the US. What was the music? I am hoping to find it. @NanaPat
