... but this is "internal" competition, plus, they gave him certain advantages over the other skaters before the forthcoming LP, due to Plushy skate today with the injections for relieving pain due to injury

Was looking at the scores; Plushy had 9+ for all his PCS. That probably helps to explain part of the sky-high score.
