2013 US Nationals Senior Mens SP

Gah! Love Johnathan, wish he was as awesome in the air as on the ice. I agree with Mike best program so far, but without a 3A it won't matter. Such a bummer.

LongTimeLurker you didn't link the results in your OP and now I have to go on google to find them. Tsk tsk. #firstworldproblems

LOVED that deep inside spread eagle in the end -- Jonathan's spread eagles are the best in the biz! Don't care how he ranks -- he is a lovely skater that has lots of nice moments.

31.67 + 35.36 =67.03 (5th out of 8 skaters). Boos from the audience.

Jonathan should have had even better component scores, IMO, to be in 69 - 71 range at the least. But it's still early yet.

But but but that means having to open a new tab with the US Nationals forum or go back there (and then having to go back here!). Life is so hard. :(

You are adorable.

Bolero, though, is not adorable. Sorry, Wesley.

Considering how long he's been around and hasnt upped his tech I can see why they dont score him higher... Yes i know it shouldnt work that way logically but why hold him up when his tech is less than what most did in the 90s.

Don't understand the huge gap between Johnson and Brown.

Johnson must have had much lower levels or underrotated jumps or maybe an invalid element even.

The protocols shall reveal all!

Only 3 points between them on the PCS.

A good debut for Mr. Warren, I'd say.

35.37 + 31.11 = 66.48 (6th out of 10 skaters)

Getting closer to Adam, almost glad I can't watch it because I would just be a nervous wreck. I really want Adam to bring down the house.

OMG Michael Weiss is commentating.

OMG people say it's actually good.

I hope Sean Rabbitt can skate a clean program. He's such a fantastic performer. :)

For what he can do component-wise it wouldn't be "holding him up," on component scores. So it seems, if you can jump, having great musicality, presentation and charisma on the ice doesn't count for much. But that's the way it's tended to be, yes.
