Chan tried to stay positive but apologized to Canada and was remorseful at the interview and seemed to try hard for composure on the podium. He is disappointed enough already without a Mama like you kicking him at this moment. What exactly have you done for him to expect so much from him like he owes you? This is a question I've wanted to ask all the Jeremy bashers since his Team skate. Olympic skating is the most unpredictable event full of drama so it should not be just another opportunity to pick on one's favourite target.
Listen, I've been a huge Patrick fan since his first Jr Worlds where I watched him live, so save the personal 'fire back' at me. Go read through my old posts before you accuse me of trashing him because he's "my favorite target". My "dream podium" in that thread was Chan golden. My point is that the coaching change was foolish in an Olympic year & I believe it cost him the gold. His jumps are not consistent and his 3ax has a technical issue on the take off that isn't being corrected because he doesn't have a coach who can fix it. She's far less qualified to coach him than I am.
Don't judge people by their nickname or their location, sweetheart. I'm a born and raised former Canadian competitive skater.

(( There were no clean performances, but I guess it's also because the technical content nowadays is sooo demanding, it's so difficult to see clean programs with quads and all.
