I think I'm in love with this Myzyk guy. He looks like a total bro who just decided to throw on skates as a joke, but actually has solid skating skills and and an interesting style.

Don't be sorry. He is.

I don't think I've seen him before but I found him strangely... likeable. :)

On a frvolous note.... Is it just me or does it look to anyone else as if Andrei Rogozine is coached by... Clark Kent?

Kevin's Link costume!

OMG is that what this is?

I always said he looked like a Japanese Anime character come to life, so I guess this is close enough.

The program is pretty bland, but at least I can hum along to the overworld music in the second half.

Count my household as another Patrick Myzyk fan. My better half had to bring work home yesterday but he stopped to watch him skate. It is just so nice to see someone a bit different on the ice. He does not look out of shape to me, but does look a little more of the linebacker/weightlifter body type. But he can still move, he clearly enjoys it and finds stuff that works for him. I love it!

Does anyone know how tall he is? I am wondering how much is that he is build stocky, and how much it might just be he is a bit taller so has a larger frame?

Also, the better half immediately asked "why is he not doing pairs" which i thought was an interesting questions. His logic was that the guy is not quite on the level of the top single men, but seems like he could keep up with the male pairs skaters rather well, and with his size can you imagine how much he could launch a little waif of a partner? Anyone have any insightful comments on why a skater like him may not go that route (other than Poland may not have a lot of choices of partners). Better half with very little skating knowledge thought he looked a little slower on the spins, and seemed to get a bit lower on the jumps. . . I'd love hear from people more knowledgeable how much of an issue this is, how much of a style issue it is and how much of it is an illusion.
