The rest of their performance was affected by the fall though. It was probably their worst performance of the year as far as expression, flow, command, yet they got their highest PCS scores of the year by far. Look at their PCS scores form their other events, they got higher at the Olympics by several points than they did anywhere else, and it was their worst performance. Even if you take off no points for the interperruption they were grossly overscored in PCS, and some of their elements. They stepped out of the last throw, which should have been a -2 average on GOE, not a -1 like they got. Some of their lifts near the end were slow and barely getting around, yet got big positive GOE.
