Well since this is just a fun thread....we will count everyones jumps
I hate to sound rude or anything...in a competition...what the tech spec and caller says....goes....even if it was clearly cheated...and they count it.....its their decision....besides...as a judge u would reflect a cheated jump with a minus 2 or 3...so if someone did a cheated double axel...but it was called rotated....u could still give it -2 for the downgrade

honestly tho, i'm not to good at calling ladies elements lol...thats y i wanted to start with the men
...its just like their tights blend in with the ice...and i hve problems with colors sometimes ....so tae04...if u start with men....it would make it easier on me ...but its ur choice

I'm doing my best to call the elements. Italia can overrule when putting things together. I was able to catch some downgrades but there may be others that I missed.
If there are 2 spiral positions in a row I'll call a level 1 spiral sequence. For isolated spirals, I'll just consider them transitions.
Of course Slutskaya wouldn't have done that salchow jump sequence under today's rules, where it ends up being worth less than the 3salchow-2loop by itself.

I don't think I missed any elements?
Also, are you talking about Sasha's Spiral(s)? I don't think they need 3 positions...that just raises the level. I could be wrong, though, I don't know the rules exactly. I'm a male figure skater and therefore coaches never talk to me about how to do a Spiral for competition, LOL.

The Salchow and Loop only need 2.5 revolutions to be seen as complete...you know that right? She may have underrotated in the past but at the Olympics she was fine.

O.K., this is not the most appropriate thread,but maybe the ones that scored Yagudin can tell me what's so special about the choreography of his 2002 LP.
Yes he does interpret the music vey well but, choreographically speaking, I don't see what's so special and why people keep raving about this LP.
Yagudin , like Plushenko, did not excel in the transitions department, had lots of stops and lots of pantomime in his program (watch the program on mute and you'll see what I am talking about).
And on what planet does Yagudin get + 1 for his spins (the same as Lambiel?)?

It's a quarter-turn underrotation that's acceptable. Unless you're talking about the fact the salchow and loop start about a 1/2 turn before they leave the ice. I did know that...
One thing I'm not sure about is when you count the jump as landed. Is it landed as soon as the toepick hits the ice? Or does it have to be the whole blade?
