2013 4CC Ladies Short Program

Gracie looked briefly disappointed at the score, then flashed what seemed to me be a fake smile (I know I know let's not judge by facial expressions). Glad she is behind Christina.

I don't think she seemed that disappointed. In fact she seemed relieved that she managed to keep it together. YMMV I guess...

Am I the only one who honestly expected nothing of Osmond? I would not have been surprised if she'd nailed it either, and I have nothing against her but I just don't have the infatuation with her some here do either. She is a good, vibrant skater who also needs a lot of work in certain areas- experience and how to deal with actual pressure evidently being one of them.

Not "nothing" nothing, she's definitely talented and capable but yeah, she's still a brand new senior finding her footing. I feel the same way about Gracie Gold. tbh it seems like a very tiny minority, as in one or two people, are trumpeting either of them as ones to watch for World medals. It's just not gonna happen.

I didn't expect Gao to be ahead of Gracie:eek:
Were her jumps ob bad quality or underrotated?

Lovely skate from Kanako! I love this program and it's been giving her trouble all year but not tonight :) 2A, 3T-3T, 3F aww she looks thrilled.

TO be honest I am not in the super best of moods tonight so my mileage may vary more than at other times haha.

Kanako ROCKED it. So beautiful

I am obviously a minority but I love Christina to death and am not at all surprised she's in front of Gracie.

Gao should have better pcs than Gold especially when it comes to Gold's programs plus she had the mistake so I'm not surprise.

With three ladies left, both Christina and Gracie will definitely be in the final group. Agnes has a slim chance of being there too....

Not the only one. I loved her at Nationals. Thought judges were a bit harsh on her. Also like both Wagner and Gold too as Wagner has this spark like Osmond, and Gold is so talented. I don't enjoy Agnes though, wish i could but don't see the spark.

With Suzuki, Kexin Zhang, and Asada left to skate. Thrilled for Gao! :)
