S/K's PCS is 72! Seriously, how many 10s they got? It's beyond ridiculous. S/K has overscored S/H 8 points in PCS alone. The battle is lost before it starts.

They only need about 2 points to catch up to first, and already surpassed that in TES.

Okay, zero points. Thanks, pairs. (And this is why I hate the "all or nothing" scoring method...)

Maybe. He also said they prepared their programs in Russia. Well, the championships are in China, so maybe Pang/Tong want to make a small comeback. Then again, altough seemed really serious, this is Trankov talking, so who knows?
I would be very happy if they returned, but I feel like they should've done the GP and built momentum/let the judges get used to their programs. Debuting at Worlds seems like a huge risk marks-wise.

I actually enjoyed the vocal rendering of the music for Stolbova and Klimov. For me, the music was perfect for them. It felt passionate, enhancing the presentation aspect. Perhaps allowing vocals will give an exciting new dimension to the sport. One can hope. :)

I guess I have to resign myself to the fact that these two are probably actually going to be World Champions if they can hold it together. It's hard to dislike them as people- they seem so nice and so genuinely happy after skating well and all- but I just cringe thinking that these are going to be World Champions. Oh well. Well deserved win either way.

Yeah I'm also getting a big fat zero... I don't like the scoring method either but seems we're in the minority :)

D/R - my favorite part of the program was the uprising at the end. I appreciate and respect their tech prowess, but much prefer to watch S/K. I bet this will inspire S/K to work their *%# off for Worlds!

Meagan and Eric are definitely pushing this forward, even with only the tech side and I'm very happy for that that they are not afraid to risk, they are definitely not a favs for everyone, but appreciate their attack

I don't like D R music and the program is a little meh to me (artistic part). But everything else is so demanding. Great skate and well deserved victory.
