I hate to be shallow but Ashley's look is not working for me at all

Its very harsh looking, makes her look older then she is and worse it kind of accentuates that "***** please" expression her face has :disagree:

Ashley always looks older than she is. I don't consider that to innately be a negative.

My new theory about Satoko's consistency is that she simply doesn't ever get high enough off the ice to make falling down be a realistic possibility.

Aaaw lol. It looked like she had more powwer and height today to be fair. haha.

I know. IT SUCKS because Satoko is and has EVERYTHING a skater should be besides big jumps.

I don't understand all the criticism about Satoko's jumps being tiny. They are excellent. She is tiny so why is she supposed to jump as high as the bigger girls? They are high enough for her to finish her rotations and that's what matters.

I must be the only one who consider's Ashley's FS superior here, then.

You're not the only one. Satoko showed her 17 here in this skate. that piece of music was way out of her league (right now) and she didn't really interpret it.

It was a "clean" skate, that the only positive thing I can say about Satoko's skate. (and her layback is to die for.)

Can Mao bust out that 4S she's been working on now and win all competitions hereafter? :sad21: Jk of course, but I hope she gets better by Worlds! Her step sequence is still my fave, and Madame Butterfly is too beautiful to not get a clean performance! </3

Agreed. And shes playing the part in the movie. You have to know the character the skaters are portraying to understand why they are dressed or made up the way they are.
