My problem with Radionova is that the performance quality goes in and out. What I mean to say is that into jumps, crossovers, etc, her shoulders and head go down instead of up and out. You can tell when she's setting up for something, because she stops performing.

Which, when she falls, makes me dislike her skate. Her excitement comes from the cleanliness.

Radionova is such a performer and she throws herself into her programs with so much energy it's hard not root for her.

It seems like her TES is weirdly low. There was a fall and a couple of other shaky jumps, but it seems like it should be higher than that. She's confused by the score, too.

I agree, and I love Ash. I know she and Gracie (most of the American ladies, it seems) like the high glamour aesthetic, but you have to be really careful or it can look harsh.

Agree. Ashley's a very pretty gal but her FS look seems a bit suggestive of a Madam; overdone and harsh. I think she'd look fresher and prettier with a simpler, classier dress plus softer hair color and makeup.

I agree both of them need some style intervention. Too dark and too severe is a perfect description. It's odd to see because I don't think I've seen U.S. ladies (in singles) as made up as them
