Just made the fliip!!!! Should take the lead, her maturity really does show on the ice!!

I like Maria, but this didn't seem to have as much energy as usual. And I know this is shallow, but that super pale illusion mesh up top and the very tan tights on bottom are really bothering me.

Solid skate, not quite the same flow as others, but enough to put her in medal contention.

SP: 35.64+27.00 = 62.64, 3/5

Maria really had to fight for parts of that but I think it's glaringly obvious that she's a MUCH more mature skater than the others we've seen so far. I'd definitely have her in first.

Loved Maria, loved the program, the costume, but I'm not sure if that's the right program for her. It should be kind of sassy, sexy and Maria is more like a lyrical skater. I don't know...

I like Sotskova, and I appreciate the push to get a skater out of her comfort zone, but the SP program, costuming and makeup are perhaps a bit much for a 15 year old
