"Wow, i can't believe I'm saying this but I think S/K has the best SD so far for me."

Seconded!! Piper and Paul's SD is tons of fun but S/K was really lovely. They've really come a long way and improved so much. I'm so happy to see them doing well.

The Waltz suits S/K much better than the Paso Doble of last year and they used the last months to gel, so this result isn`t that surprising. For G/P, it`s pretty telling if they are losing the PCS against S/K here and C/B and S/S at Nepala. I think, their SD is little bit too weird.

Piper and Paul score is way too low, they were fast , the lift was great tes below 30 is ridiculous.
The technical score is not given just for lifts and speed. Speed matters in PCS and in GOE for step sequences (where several other factors are taken into consideration as well), but the step sequence, compulsory sequence and other element levels which make up the technical base value are not determined based on speed and on how impressive the lifts look. Gilles/Poirier got only level 2 on both of their Rawensburger sequences. Actually, you could see how scratchy their squences were - the ice went flying under their skates. That in itself is a sign that something is not quite right with them/the skating.

S/K just need to work on their twizzle a little bit imo. Nikita is still going into them like a hurricane and Victoria look slow compared to him (though they did finish together)

The protocols are out. The technical panel was pretty tough on the RW, only H/B got one level 4.

I am always worried that Nikita is going to fall over in his twizzles. He always looks out of control.

I was not expecting to enjoy Sinitsina/Katsalapov, Gilles/Poirier, and Chock/Bates the most of the night, but I did! I think C/B's short dance will be wonderful once they have more practice with it.

Still rooting for Hawayek/Baker.
