and I absolutely applaud the decision to switch to it...WOW! 
I guess CB are trying to keep up with inflation at Mordovian ornament....lol...neither CB nor IZ deserve a 70 on thear SDs. They could still be in first place with a more realistic 67. SK however I think deserve the 62 they got today and GP, 61 is great considering I hate that SD. I wish HB weren't treated as juniors still, love them ....and YM did well for their debut, too bad on the slip up...but they were good.
That PCS for S/K is very telling how the judges like them. This type of program really suits Victoria. She is very pretty. And Zueva is right they are fast and beautiful couple. Excited for their FD!! I hope Y/M will do so much better in FD. They need to burn their SD costume , too fake and heavy looking!
Just watched Sinitsina/Katsalapov's SD which I had missed - it is lovely indeed. As for Chock/Bates, surprisingly upon the first watch I liked this new SD better than the previous one. I needed three or four watches to start liking it. Still, I somewhat regret them changing it - only because now there will be less variety in SDs among top teams.

Sinitsina and Katsalapov looked really good. The waltz really suits them. That extra time to train was a blessing in disguise. Looking forward to the FD. But how about we cut them some slack and just call them SinKats 
I was hoping that Anna and Sergei would have a better debut, maybe it was nerves, but there were some really nice moments in that SD, it just doesn't seem cohesive as a whole dance. Some of the moves seemed too complex for them maybe? Hopefully the FD is much better

Good for S/K for improving so much during the off-season. I don't like C/B's new SD any better than their Dark Eyes one, but the ending is so cool that it saves the whole thing.
The tech panel here seemed a lot harsher than the ones we've been seeing at most of the senior Bs, except on twizzles.

It is really a beautiful dance, isn't it? I believe that they have great potential to be world class dancers one day. Just excellent!
Judy Blumberg is known as one of the toughest Tech Specialists. The "Burger" is a relatively easy waltz especially for the guys, unfortunately several of the men here are stronger skaters than their partners who have the harder steps.

I loved C/B. So much above the next two big medalists. I really hate that so many people dislike them. They are SO GOOD. I cannot believe people think someone beat them tonight without being ridiculously biased. They were just that good. I get hoping for someone to win, but C/B were awesome.
