Perhaps. We are in the rural northeast and the nearest mall is 45 min away. It'd be a long trip!

A lot of our streets don't have street lights, are in heavily wooded areas, and the houses are pretty spread out- combined with the coyotes and careless/drunk drivers (we've been featured on national TV for that ) I can see why parents would opt for a safer event.
