A true tragedy for this event. At least I still have plenty of drugs to help me through it.

I wonder if Brooklee is stretching herself too thin? From what I recall, she does a crazy amount of extracurriculars in addition to school: community involvement, competitive dressage, AND skating.

Why is frozen still up there? It was good when it first came out, but I wish people would just let it go.

And I think if I was SoYoun, I would over-exaggerate and start flinging my arms everywhere, because god knows that's the only way she's probably going to satisfy these crazy judges. While I'm not a big fan of her SP, her subtlety is so much preferable than someone like Radionova who, mind you I love but, seems to get too higher than I would find justifiable if SoYoun's score was to be used as a benchmark.

Oh, no, Brooklee... She had a decently strong start to the season--really liked her at Skate America. Then things started going worse and worse...

wow Canada is down to one lady it looks like. What a disasater from Daleman but worse Korpi won't even skate the free program unless some bomb drops (literally). What a fiasco.

Lets not jump ahead of ourselves! Alaine could be in the top 10, and then if Gabrielle is 21st, then that is 31st. And then it's just moving up 3 places in the free, which Gabby can totally do. I'm staying optimistic!

I do really like Brooklee's music, shame that she's having a poor skate though, her chances of qualifying for the FS are pretty much gone. The Chinese audience would have loved her FS

Not really! She had a PB at Skate America and had a great FS there.

It's heartbreaking to see these skaters crumble in the kiss and cry. I felt so bad for Broklee.

No, anyone below 16th gets 16 points. So if Daleman is anywhere below 16 she's still going to only contribute 16. Thus, Chartrand only needs to stay top 12.

I agree, it baffles me to this day. Apparently appearing balletic and graceful is no longer something that gets you high PCS.
