2015 Worlds Ladies Short Program March 26

I really wish they would put a top ranked skater in each group to confuse the judges. Maybe they would end up forgetting who they are supposed to hold down at some point :)

Loving the patriotic music for the Hungarian skater :)

Unfortunately she doesn't seem quite speedy enough to rise to it ... :(

This child is itty bitty. Did she just come up from juniors?

She's doing both. She did JGP this fall and competed at both Euros and Jr. Worlds.

I think she's going through a growth spurt, as tiny as she is. She was skating much better in the fall.

I root for her partially because Ms. Triple Lutz herself, Julia Sebaystan, is her coach! :)

This is totally random, but how come no one does step sequences around the rink anymore? I used to think that worked well for fast-paced pieces, and was wondering after watching some 90s figure skating the other day

I hope she doesn't get eaten by the puberty monster. Maybe she's not as familiar with her senior program as with her junior one.

Denmark's costume very similar to Netta. Wear the pants, ladies! Love it.

And Ashley Cain from the US. And Elene's FS costume if I remember correctly from Skate America. There seems to be a black unitard with open back trend going around. I love it, personally.

She competed at the junior grand prix. She was at the Europeans and then at the Juniors Worlds. If I remember correctlym, she didn't make it to the FP(at both of competitions). She is a nice skater but she falls very often in her SP.

Tend to see more of that in the LPs I think.

Takes up precious time. StSeq's these days are more about how many steps you can do in both directions more than how effective can your steps be. That's my best guess. Points points points.

AW that was nice from Anne-Line. Can't ask for more than to do a nice clean program.
