This is a general announcement to all Canadian and South Korean fans worrying about your two spots for next year: relax. Both of your skaters have made it to the free, so that means only one of them has to get into the top twelve for you to keep your two spots.

Of course, three spots is out of the question, but relax.

But with the 12 top seeded skaters yet to take the ice... well... I wouldn't relax just yet. Obviously nobody should lose hope, but ending up in top 12 means Chartrand has to beat one of the skaters yet to come. Park has to get past Chartrand and another skater.... and still knock out one of the top 12.

If I were a betting man, I'd say that at least one of these are reduced to one skater next year.

Shame for So Youn... She always falls on her second triple jump, be it loop or lutz.
I think it made her quite panicky and she just couldn't focus into the music during step sequence. Hoping for the best during FS... But her 3sal-3toe and double axel was great.
I'm very sad for Gabrielle and Brooklee... No one performed up to standard yet except Alaine so far I feel.

oh I just got nervous!! I wonder how Zijun is feeling. I hope she has a great skate tonight. Even though she's not someone I'm gunning for a top 6 finish tonight, I would still be happy to see her make the final group because I think that would really give something for this crowd to cheer about in ladies and what an exciting thing that would be for her!

Still though, lot's of great skaters in this group! I hope we get to see 12 clean programs!!
