2015 Worlds Men Short Program March 27

He won the national championship.

The Korean federation decided to sent him even though Jin Seo had higher SB and higher TES.

Was that the only reason? I thought JGPF qualification has something to do with it. I thought he needed some of those Jason Brown magic fingers, Cheshire cat grin flair to work that Jazzy program. He does look more senior than Junior than JinSeo perhaps only in physique? As for now Jinseo is a more interesting skater to watch, bigger potential. Nice to see a great debut though! It is his senior debut right?

I kind of like this program! Don't mind the shirt at all :D

He need more confidence, bigger ego and musicality to carry it through though.

Do you think the French Federation makes its skaters sign contracts to the effect that they must skate, let's say, to 'offbeat' choreography for a certain amount of seasons to get funding? It sure seems like it sometimes...

Jin Seo IMO is a better skater, but I noticed this pattern with other countries' selections, if skaters are on a similar level.

As example, the Finnish dance pair only had the 3rd best score among their dance pairs this season.

Wow! Go Chafik! I'm pretty sure he's worn this costume for a couple seasons...it suits the program fine, I like it.

I think French are probably one of the last places in the world where they feel to come up with interesting creative concept programs before score this X amount of point for the sake of COP is more important. They are rightly proud of their Artistic heritage.

Glad that Besseghier has evidently recovered from the illness? injury? that affected him at Euros.

A flub on the broken leg spin and a step out on the 3A, but pretty good other than that. I think he'll get into the free. I'm so happy for you, Karne!
