He had a really rough year w/injuries...in fact he still has some bruising(?) & wasn't sure if he would skate here. But he's going to be great when he gets past all of this.

I think he will. The Hong Kong and Swiss skaters are not better than him, at least on paper. Some of the so called "favorites" will likely mess up too.

It is not THAT big of a drop, he was 19th at the Olympics.

Fell on the 3A, his solo jump was only a 3Lo, I missed the combo.

If he'd not fallen, he'd have made it. But he did, so for the moment, he's under the line.

And it is really interesting that of all the guys who had skated so far, only Florent Amodio's scores have gone above that of Liza Tuks in the short yesterday. And this is considering that PCS is factored 0.8 in ladies and 1 for the men.
