Can't help but feel that Kolyada skated way below expectations here. Menshov or Voronov would probably have been smarter choices after all...

For me it's like, he's only had bad skates for so long so that to have a skate like that for his final skate is pretty poetic.

And he WON Euros 5 years ago exactly...with Morozov. The emotion was deserved.

No, because they are not the FUTURE... Russia is finally has talanted juniors who they are promoting and giving experience to. It is not like he was given the spot, he was 2nd at Nationals.
