I think it is not a bad idea. There are skaters who respond better to female voice. Hope all the best for Gracie!

Does anyone know if the Ref can make an ice quality call and insist on a flood before the next flight?

It would totally mess up the television schedule, but this is ice that is beyond the limits...

At US Classic the men were trying to get on the ice and told to stop and wait as someone decided the ice needed a couple more minutes to.... wait/freeze... before it was safe for the skaters. Safety was mentioned i recall.


So i guess someone has some say... but not sure they can order a zamboni mid comp.... perhaps that should be rethought.
