Sad to say, but Gold should've listened to her first instincts when she was considering skipping the Grand Prix series. This probably isn't doing much for her self-esteem or confidence.

Some late occuring challengers may have been in her best interest.

Totally agree. I also don't know why she did France after the disaster at SA. She's not making the final, so why put herself through this? She needs rest if she's doing nationals.

Where is the Gracie from the Short at Worlds or the Free at 2016 Nationals? This is so painful to watch...I have never been a huge fan of hers but now I just want to give her a big hug. She needs to do what is right for her...not her fans, not her family, not her sponsors, HER.

Well, we've seen worse from Gracie this year. This is so minor, but I'm glad she lost the poorly matched nude gloves from SA--they were really distracting.

It is so weird to see the much softer shoulder and arm movements than before. Gracie's stiffness may also come from high pressure. The program is so promising, but she can't live up to it yet. I hope she resolves her issue by the time when she competes at Nationals.
