I can always tell when Ashley is going to miss her triple-triple. Her body always goes dead right before she is about to make a mistake. When her body is upright and smooth, it will be either clean or almost clean.

I really don't think so. It was a SPECTACULAR skate, by far the best I've ever seen her do. New speed, confidence, & jumps fully rotated.

I see, thank you! Yeah I thought it was great but I don't follow the ladies enough to know good scoring.

Ashley Wagner~ in black. Skating to Hip Hip, Chin Chin. Lots of fringe skirts this year, it seems.

And, oh no! She fell on the combo. It was kind of weird, almost like she didn't go in with enough focus and just threw it in the air. She still sold the heck out of it though. Kudos to her not to let the fall affect the rest of the performance seemingly at all. Is still in the running.

Weird, I am actually enjoying Ashley tonight. Not seeing that much lauded maturity, but it was fun. She and Adelina have very similar, fun SP's this season.

Too bad about the fall, but everything else was still great. However, she did leave the door open for Gracie. Gracie needs to at least cleanly land 2 of her jumping passes to be ahead of Ashley.

Edit: nvm, I actually did not expect Ashley's score to be that low.
