I am not her fan but what if she skates enough for a record? She then deserves it.

Because the current world record for SP is beautiful skate of adult Mao (Nocturne) with a 3A included.
A 3F-3T, 3Loop and 2A program skated by a still juniorish (albeit talented Evgenia) should not top that, tanos and all included. Just IMO

I wouldn't bother getting too interested in how Yamada progresses over the next few years. After all, all Ladies skaters representing Switzerland retire when they are 19.

And then I sign into Facebook during Ziquan's highlights, and the first thing I see at the top of my news feed is a photo one of those retired Swiss Ladies skaters (now the grand old age of 20) posted of herself:

Well it's not about those check marks only. Evgenia plays a great numbers game. She backloads and uses tanos. If she breaks a WR it'll because the numbers added up, not necessarily because everybody enjoyed it.

Exactly!!! I don't think anyone should take a figure skating WR too seriously anyway.

Hm how do you get 34+ TES and only 21 PCS... Normally they would certainly gift a little bit of PCS if you skate a clean program with that content even if you just skate through, no? And she's not even one of my least fun to watch skaters.
