So I've liked Anne Line and Mae so far. Anne Line had a lovely light air and Mae really used her music. Felt a bit low in PCS to me. On the down side she was quite slow. Not as slow as Ziquan. That felt glacially slow. Da Bin also needed more attitude and pep for that music. It should have got us all smiling and clapping. I liked Viveca until the steps. They felt laboured. Kailani was good and brought some pep to the session. One of her jumps at least looked UR and I think we just saw them downgrade it.

Usually I only watch the last 2 groups.

Which is why I'm surprised at these scores, since Gracie Gold can fall on both her triples and have no combination and still score higher than everyone who's gone so far.

There's some serious score clustering beginning at just about 49-50. Hopefully it doesn't come down to a <0.1 difference between qualifying and not qualifying like dance did.

That is one of my favourite Gala programmes ever.

The first time we saw it, the costume change came as such a shock, and got us so excited. And even though we knew it was coming, we were still getting excited every time she performed it afterwards.

Anna just owned it every time she performed it.

I just wish she would get back into that same head-space whenever she is doing her competition routines this season. She would really give Zhenya a run for her money if she did.

Anna really is one of the best exhibition ladies we have. She has a gift for performing, but somehow it does not come out in competitions. I wish they would let her have more flexibility with her choices... at this point I think she could actually get away with being rather different.
