I don't get it.

The last time Mirai took part in a world championship was 6 years ago during the Olympic season coming 4th at the Olympics, won the SP at WC, then flunked her LP ends up in 7th. She was not able to gather a place from US Nationals to able to compete in a WC since - despite her score is often better internationally than when she is judged at home.
