This ice dancing is going to heat up!!! Cizeron/Papadakis - Poje/Weaver - Shibutanis are going to slay it!!! I can't sleep thinking about this.

The competition will be fierce!

I am really having a hard time making any predictions. Wild guess, overall after the FD these might be the results:

PC, Shibs, WP, CB, CL, SK, HD, GP, SB, TT, CB (Brits)

More or less.

I don't even think I'll be able to watch, I'll be way too tense. I might just wait to know the results first.

France nominated only one pair although there are three spots! It is a pity.

But P/C once is better than hundred other pairs.

Really like Papdakis and Cizeron but I don't see this as their year. For SD I see: WP, Shibs, CL, CB, PC - pretty close 4 point spread.

I think if P/C have improved the SD levels the FD speaks for itself. They really need to be in the top three in SD.I think it is their year.:).If the S/S are ahead of them in SD then there could be a problem.

P/C should secure 3 spots again for France, as they should be 1st or 2nd, depending on how much they have improved the SD.
Thus they will have 2 spots ready for the 2 Junior couples coming through.

Marie-Jade / Romain have to go Senior next season and Angelique/Louis should go Senior as Louis will be the oldest you can be in Juniors if he stays.

I think too it would be good for both couples to push each other.

I can't see Lorenza and Pierre being competitive against these 2 couples.

Dostatni on the tech panel! I'm sure everyone is thrilled! Though he's only the assistant and he did a good job at COR this season IMO. I'll always be a bit wary of him because of his seeming omnipotence from 2005 to 2007 and some of the...interesting calls he made then. But of course a lot of the blame goes to the ISU for assigning him all the big events during that time and giving him that much power. I'm sure his knowledge and expertise is excellent, for me they just shouldn't ever rely that strongly on one caller. Of course now they've thankfully gone away from this sort of thing and it might have been partly growing pains at the beginning of IJS.

Sigh. Thank you in advance to Mao and our other vid posters. I like you much better than my dentist at the moment!

Very Canadian friendly tech panel. S/S screwed.

Members of the Tech Panel had served in COR, COC and the Trophee Eric Bombard. So one would presume partiality to W/P. C/L and H/D as these teams won on these events.
