As Spirals for Miles said, she'll be at Minsk Ice Star - also she's been entered into the Warsaw Cup.

Plush said that her jump technique needs to be reworked, so I expect a lot of hard work needs to be done, and don't expect sudden miracles. But I think there will be gradual improvement.:)

For what? an Olympic spot? no way, even if she brings back the old Eteri's packaging.

To get 1-2 spot for the next year at GP? sure if she skates clean at Nationals and finishing in the top 10, why not!

I think she has the potential to comeback, especially if she manages to match Evgenia's technical contents (especially in the short program with the 3f-3t, 3lo and 2a all in the second half) but right now the goal is to get that consistency back, and fix some of the issues on her jumps, the 2a in particular but also the edge on the lutz.

Right now in my opinion the current standings for the three spots are.

1. Evgenia Medvedeva
2. Alina Zagitova
3. Maria Sotskova

4. Elena Radionova
5. Anna Pogorilaya
6. Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

Considering that Eteri's group is clearly leading with more medals won, while Buyanova is the most influential coach and she is the coach of the current Olympic Champion.

I don't know where Polina Tsurskaya stands mostly because she has done so few competitions so far, so it's difficult to say how consistent she is right now, and no JW medals, so it will be interesting to see how they judge her at the first event.

Then the rest with lots of skaters from juniors who might overtake both Liza and Pogo's spots easily. (i'm expecting surprises there as usual)

Skate Canada is going to be crucial for both Masha and Anya: whoever misses the podium and even lower than 4th place goes behind Radionova.

Technically, Eteri is also the coach of a current Olympic champion.
 
As much as I love Eteri, going to have to correct you on this one, dante... No hard feelings please!! ;)
But Yulia moved to Urmanov before retiring. Thus you cannot say that Eteri IS the coach of a current Olympic champion. Unless you mean someone else who I'm missing?

That's what I thought at first too - but then I realised that would disqualify Buyanova as well, as Adelina has moved to Plushy...

Anna still got her unbelievable fall and 10 sec delay getting up. She needs to learn judo to cope with these extreme falls. Someday she will hurt herself if she doesn´t know how to roll correctly.

Judging from the music, Anna's LP is actually another Black Swan, not the classical Swan Lake, very similar if not identical to Osmond's cut. Just image they two skate back to back in the LP...I don't even know what's going to happen. But Anna's skating style would fit the chaotic and fierce music better.

I agree with almost all 特A. A few hl:

1) Sofia Akatieva (2007) - as I said many times before, superb rotations, very nice skating skills, the next quad girl.

2) Yana Liventseva (2006) - impressive jumps and rotations, but weak skating skills, she's from Davydov's school which means she should leave it as fast as she can, look at Mikhailova, Tarusina, Mitrofanova and their PCS.

3) Anfisa Ryabova (2005) - beautiful spins, nice skating skills, very nice jumps, but she's slow and lack of fire in her skating. Aside of jumps and spins, that was boring to watch.

4) Sofia Dzepka (2009) - it's too early to say something about her, but I guess I saw a little angel.

Well, according to Alina, before moving to Eteri she only had 2A, 3S and 3L at the age of 12.
So her sister still has time. But if she wants results she needs to move from Izhevsk...

Nope, I didn't. I said she was a consistent skater before she got injured in the bus crush, but her skating is weak. It touches all skaters from Davydov's school.
