Right. But they aren't using their originally planned free dance (to La La Land). Has he stated that he worked with them on their current Imagine free dance?

The interview is very recent, so I think he also worked with them on Imagine. And taking into account that he and Jayne skated to Imagine in their professional career, as well as during Dancing on Ice, I wouldn't be surprised if it was his suggestion they skated to this song. Maybe one day we wll learn what happened to LalaLand.

Neither would I.

Coomes Buckland/Papadakis Cizeron/Savchenko Massot and Chock and Bates was the totality of who he is working with (oh no, Vincent Zhou as well)(if I remember correctly)

Christopher Dean is also working with pairs team Alexa and Chris Knierim on their FS. Rohene Ward did the choreo for Alexa and Chris' SP.

At the time, I thought it was interesting that Alexa and Chris has the same choreographers this year that Madi and Evan has last year (that is, Rohene and Christopher).

*And*, if Rohene is doing the choreo for Madi and Evan's SD again this year, then they (Madi/Evan and Alexa/Chris) will have the same choreographers, for the same programs, in one year.

Just fun facts:biggrin:

Vincent's SP is by Jeff Buttle and Charlie White is the main choreographer for his free. It sounded like Christopher Dean also helped out a bit with the free from these comments in one of the Ice Network articles about his free skate.

Zhou has also enlisted one of the greatest ice artists of all time to help: Christopher Dean.

"I see a similarity between Chris and Charlie, both ice dancers and Olympic champions, and I felt like Chris could help Vincent maintain Charlie's vision," Meekins said. "They both move with this beautiful, elegant but masculine style. I thought that really suited the nature of the character, and also of the choreography."

Also Torvill and Dean are working with the young British team Fear/Gibson.

I think he was just optimizing gabirella and guillaume's program. He made a full FS for Savchenko and Massot.

I fear what Z/E's FS could sound.
S/K worked on FS with Dubreuil but Mozer wasn't satisfied and they went to Camerlengo also for the FS.

Seriously? Really? How do you do this to any pair in their Olympic season? I'm a bit disappointed, to put it mildly.

Other generic and boring programs for Tarasova/Morozov :(( Why? Why? :((
And Carmen for Stolbova/Klimov?

I am really not excited about these choices. :(

Blah blah blah warhorses are bad, etc, etc, - but I'm not going to lie - I am psyched to see Stolbova as Carmen. Moreso than any other current pair, St/Kl were born to do Carmen together.

But he doesn't look like he's passionate about her... they don't have love chemistry

I actually don't automatically think Warhorses are bad, but it depends on who's skating to it and who the choreographers are and whether I think they can really sell the material. A Camerlengo-choreographed Carmen by Stolbova is extremely intriguing to me.

I can't stand the thought of seeing anyone skating to Carmen. That isn't just a warhorse....it's petrified music. Why oh why can't these people look for something fresh!

Summer of '42 is a beautiful piece of music. Glad to see someone using it again. And it HAS been years.....
