I love Brezina's program so much. Love the idiosyncratic music cut. Love the composition and the simple but powerful modern choreo.

Too bad about the miserable execution. At least he kept fighting.

Lots of missed opportunities in the technical for Brezina. Only combo was a 2T on the first 3A, plus two falls (one on a 4S and one on the 3F), and a pop on the opening 2S. Not sure I really get the program with Stand By Me and hip-hop together, but he does actually have a good timing in the footwork and interesting steps. The technical is just going to be too low for him to place higher.

Sounds like Boostraps to me, fairly small band so no idea how he found this. Maybe he heard them in some club in LA.

I thought that he will be on the podium here after the great SP at Skate Canada, but he needs more time to grow. More stamina at least. He has lovely lines and he is very elegant, he remembers me of Urmanov sometimes.

He's carrying injury supposedly but even when he was healthy he seemed to have stamina issues sometimes so the problem is somewhere else.

Deniss is such a beautiful skater to watch. I'm completely entranced when he skates, the way he uses his movements, especially his arms, to express so much.

I've always liked Michal. The Stand By Me music is nice. When the other lyrics keep repeating "I'm only human," though, it keeps reminding me of all the falls and pops that are happening. It's like the opposite of skating so well that the skater takes me right back into the spell.
