Excuse me? How is that underscored?? Everybody talks about artistry, which is not only subjective, but only half of the sport. The SPORT. For a toe-toe combo with a solo loop, I find that massively overscored, even if you love her version of her own artistry. (I don't count myself among those--I want more action in my skating)
Also. Her TES is higher than her PCS. That should not be happening. There is no way on earth that those elements deserve THAT elements score, especially not in a mainly front-loaded program. I'm disgusted right now.

Well I mean, the PCS was almost 37. There's not a whole lot of room for it to even be underscored. As good as it was, there's plenty of room to improve and you hit a wall very soon if you start awarding like 39 PCS for performances like that.

1st place so far! It has to be the best SP score from Carolina after her return till now, am I correct? That's a hefty score.

I was being bit sarcastic, it is very high for a 3t3t program without backloading, but considering the type of score we are going to get in the next flight.. i predict this will be considered as underscore. Just being a futurist...

I know you guys love Marai and I really want her to do well because of all she's been through but her skating doesn't reach me.

I'm going to be really interested to see how Elena and Mariah do. I see them as contending to potentially go to the Olympics and a good showing here would help them.

Shayuki, yes, that's exactly my point. I was responding to OS who seemed to think that that performance was underscored whereas I think it was grossly overscored.

Radionova's skating posture still hurts to just watch. It's really weird she hasn't managed to correct it throughout the years. This is already her 5th year as a senior competitor.
