I'm still in love with Mariami's dress (I remember her from Austria)

Now let's see if she'll improve her score from 33.88 in AUT

aaaaaaand just as I'm typing that she take a weird crash fall. Poor girl. She looks unhappy with that.

didnt know what to expect from Nana and i am very impressed, she has great flow on her jumps and during program, her edge on luts isnt very deep but looked ok with jumps being great itself (idk if it makes sense ) :luv17:

Great job Nana! Her jumps seem to float! Wish that she wouldn't push her head out so much though.

5th Warmup Thoughts

- Tulle black skirt has nice jumps.

- I like the dark purplish-pink top/black skirt combo that one skater is wearing.

- Oooh, I like this dark blue dress with silver sparkles/rhinestones, but the blue mesh looks not that great, especially with a collar.

- Someone else in baby pink. Cute. Nice low sit spins from her.

- Black skirt with pink/white warmup jacket has got some spin skills.

Varvara Petrova of KGZ is Miss Baby Pink. I like the design of her dress.

Okay she weirdly stalked that first jump and just as I thought she was going to abort it, she went for it and fell.

Something bugs me about her jumping. That second one had a very abrupt landing.

I like her sit spin though. Great job.

Did a combo with the first jump Rippon and the second jump 'Tano, so there's that.

Her face is getting very red.

Her ISU PB is only 22.56 - will this beat it?

ETA: Barely. 23.11. Keep working, Varvara!

Elizabete Jubkane (LAT)... Now that I see the top with the Harlequin pattern, it feels appropriate with the French music. Could do without the pink gloves - maybe black instead with some small Harlequin pattern mimicking the bodice of her dress? Also, it seems half-over-the-boot tights are a thing now? Multiple skaters with them. More than I remember.

Good double axel from Elizabete!

Also like how she saved her flying sit, because she very nearly got off balance in the flying portion.

Alexandra Feigin (BUL) is actually the one I referenced in my Warmup post by her tulle black skirt. Her overall costume feels VERY appropriate for this music even though I wish her skirt was just a tad bit longer.

She is PERFORMING this. I'm enjoying it.

I just noticed her boots. They're kind of neat.

Ha, nice slide to end. Sorry she struggled a bit with the tech because she was selling the program.

Side note: Apparently a few NHL players are starting to buy roller skate skate guards. I wonder if any figure skaters have them.

Yixuan Zhang (CHN) has the pretty blue costume. The mesh doesn't bug me as much from certain angles but still feels awkward.

She's another one who is performing her opening footwork very well.

Nice big jumps!

Sorry about the fall later on.

She had so much fun with that program!

Kristina Shkuleta-Gromova (EST) has a very nice dark blue costume with interesting cutouts and lots of stones.

Weird spin with her leg in a sit spin position but still pretty much standing up?

A few nice jumps, I think

I missed the beginning of the program unfortunately.

ETA: Ooh, gained 5 points on her ISU PB score, nice!

Alana Toktarova (KAZ) is back, yay. I like her costume a lot.

Sad to see her struggling with the jumps. She still has potential.

wow, Alana looks so much taller than last season  maybe its the reason for her scary jumps :slink: but she looks very mature and enjoyed her presentation :luv17:
