Feel so spoiled to be able to watch so many ice dance teams with more to come and it is only 12:30 am here. I won't be so lucky for senior worlds.

She can't dance with herself and we're running low on Pojes and Moirs so it's for the best we let her go.

sure.... funny enough.... poje and poirier are skating with american girls while tanith went down south... i guess our borders were more open back then....

we should have brought ponomarenko up here to skate for canada

Oy could you imagine the cries of favouritism we'd be hearing if that had happened? No no. Let them skate for the US. They won't be saddled with suspicion.

Kaitlyn and Piper are originally Americans, but represent Canada, so it can be said USA have lost their great assets to the foreign country.

It would be epic if Anthony and her partner represent Russia after his Olympic champion parents as he may have dual citizenship, one is of course Russian passport. I also saw some Russian GS poster said s/he wished the team compete for Russia. He got a lot of applaud from the Russian audience when they competed in Russia last summer, so well..

I keep forgetting that Kaitlyn and Piper are American.

Especially with Piper, since both her and Alexe ultimately switched to representing Canada. On the other hand, I suppose I should remember that they are American because Todd didn't switch. But, I didn't pay much attention to his skating career, so...

Sigh. M/C will be lucky to be in 1st after that. That program just does not work. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in second at this point.

ETA: 4th. Not a big surprise. It's a meh program and it was sloppy.

Fashion Police Citations for both of them for skirting over the borders of Good Taste, though I do like his jacket.
