It started that as Mariah names was called for me, so I high-tailed it to the Russian feed

She is very bland to me unfortunately. But hats off to her for consistency, SP aside.

World class performance from Mai. Could've really been in the medal mix if not for the SP.

Mariah only botched one jump but all jumps were wonky and stsq was....just no. The performance is far from the one at Skate America where she made a breakthrough. So flurried and rushed without delivering her emotion fully. She used to be a very expressive skater, but I guess nerves got to her. The score is well..

And yet she gets a USA Lady boost and scores close to the score she got at SA! Yet this program was not near to what she did at SA!

There's no denying that Mai is still a tiny bit juniorish, but there is something SO lovely and appealing about her skating Every movement she makes is so smooth and fluid and effortless... I can't wait to see her develop

Mihara needs music with more oomph next year, though. She has the energy and skills to pull it off!
