I tried to be as far as possible from the discussion the choreography and motif of this program.
But, I just have to say this.

It is really un-thinkable to mime a jumper from a tower in the middle of the STSQ.

Otherwise, she did well and I admire her consistency and focus.

Raf needs to take a lesson from Anna's coaches.

In fairness - Anna's coaches would have been a lot cooler with her if she'd only made smaller mistakes costing her important points. When someone has an almighty melt down, there's no use in tough love and chastisement. You just comfort them. Raf seems nicer to Mariah, but I think it's because Maria is so inexperienced compared to Ashley. I think he expects a lot of Ashley(for good reason) and so he's harsher with her. I am not exactly approving of this behaviour though.

Evgenia stayed in "sad" character pretty well this time, probably was thinking about the earlier skaters in this comp.

Yes, I'm glad Yevgenia stayed in character right to the final pose and held it this time! Last time when she smiled right away (at Euros) it kind of broke the mood of the program which is a somber 9/11 theme. Much more appropriate and much more 'finished'.

WHOA! HUGE score for Med!! A record I think they said, 154.10 for the FS.

233.41 overall!! And into 1st of course like a rocket!
