I am laughing kind of hard right now. Seriously are you surprised by Kostner's PCS? When has her PCS ever goes down because of anything? Remember 2014 worlds?

As I said before, knowing it will happen doesn't make it any less irritating when it does.

SHe pointed out that the Chinese lady 's spins are complicated and fast while Carolina's ones are ugly to see...
She also said: in a sport it is disappointing to see such injustices -> skaters should be scored accordingly.

She hopes that Emmi Peltonen will qualify for the FS

No and if Carolina would have had a 3F!< and a 2A< I would agree, this just wasn't the case. It's different when people are making things up to proof their point.

So far, Shuran YU and Xiangning LI are standouts for me. Also, loved GALUSTYAN's performance - really emotional. Ain't mad at KOSTNER; really love that program and she's legendary. So glad she's back. I just wish her interpretation was as risky as the choice of music. In terms of the scores, I don't think she's overscored necessarily -- more that other skaters are underscored and it's often based on pedigree. But yeah, that's figure skating. Oh well

The 3F of Kostner is two-footed. Yet I doubt it gets negetive GOE. So she's definitely held up.

Before 2010 it could easily make her 1st after SP (ok ... if you ignore score inflation & higher base value for triple toe loop_.

Wow, a lot of users here seem to dislike Carolina a lot. Anyway, she did rotate all her jumps, yes, the landings of the 3F and the 2A weren't good, but those jumps were rotated and someone even wrote 3F(!) - just no! That's not an unclear edge. Anyway, the camel spin wasn't good and the PCS wasn't that high so where exactly is the problem? PCS would have been higher for sure if she would have skated in one of the last two groups.

That 3F! protocol prediction was . Said user has a tendency to over-scrutinize people she does not care for.

Jumps had bad landings, one spin no value, and the program was basically all two-foot skating, standing and posing (and some of the standing was REALLY long). It was like she and Ashley had a competition to see who could choreograph the emptiest SP. :sarcasm: PCS was way too high.

We have to wait for the other top skaters. I'm sure Carolina's PCS is going to be comparatively low. And I like the choreography of the program, a busy program isn't necessarily a good or well choreographed program.
