In the KnC, the guy next to her is a Russian speaker. The woman sitting next to her was on the judging (or tech) panel who was talking to Lipnitskaia when Julia had that infamous on-ice injury at GP Russia.

Despite of her buttery SS, she has gotten ridiculously low PCS scores although her TES and jump execution are not great. However figure skating is not all about jumps. I wish at least her SS part is recognized by the judges.
