2017 World Ladies SP

Why did Wakaba get higher TES but much lower PCS than Costner?

Yeah, it's a total mystery to me! And I really enjoyed Carolina's performance, but Wakaba seemed to have much better presentation over all than Caro did (she was pretty wobbly at a few points!)

Schott's interpretation is very reserved like white toast that popped out of the toaster 15 seconds too early. Reminds me of Rodeghiero, with the difference being that I can stand to watch Schott.

The downside of going right after a Japanese when said Japanese didn't do as well as expected and the public is at least 1/3 Japanese... not much cheering or clapping during the skate.

Let the audience recover from their Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

*Attempt to out do the announcer*

hoping clean skate for next group! especially Dabin and Osmond. hopefully Karen will get that triple toe instead of double

does anyone have a link that is not geoblocked in asia? cbc livestream unfortunately is geoblocked already. :(

Didn't expect Caro leading after this group with that kind of performance.
Now.. Go Kaetlyn!! :hap36:

I always read that you can't win it in the SP but you can lose it in the SP. And from where I stand the 3 spots for Japanese ladies look very precarious

Plus, it seems like Mihara lucked out a bit with her score considering the error -- she could have/probably should have been at least a few points lower, in Zijun range.
