Kaetlyn Osmond: Very strong opening combo 3F+3T with great ride-out. Gorgeous 3Lz as well. Great 2A too. The jumps are on, and better centering of her spins than before. I was always a bit dubious about the step sequence in that the music cuts the audience clapping with silence, but it was effective with how clean the program was. We've got a medal contender, folks!

I truly do believe that when she's on Osmond is the best skater in the world. There is literally nothing else you could wish for. Big, explosive, beautiful jumps, lovely, controlled, nuanced spins, and a real joy in skating, the ability to convey real emotion and make the audience feel it too. I could really watch this again and again for the rest of my life.

Imagine where she'd be now if those injuries hadn't set her back so much...
