Don't they score jumps differently for men and women? I thought it was like tennis where men play the best of 5, but women the best of 3.

No. They don't for pairs either. One of the many defects of IJS.

A 3A for women should be scored higher than one for men.

Kevin is typical jumper. The program was boring and slow. Only jumps were impressive.

i find the music edit quite odd and hard to get into, totally unmemorable, but i guess they have been streamlined to allow quads.

Also what happens if a country gets 3 spots, but doesn't have 3 top skaters? (Like if Javi wins or whatever doesn't Spain get 3 spots, but I can't think of another Spanish skater except other Javi so what happens to that spot?)
