2017 Worlds Men's FS

I love Boyang's PCS, range from 94.50 to 76 (From Spain) LOL!!!

Oy! Spanish judge, you sure try hard pave the way for Javier (96.50). Lowest mark for Japan and Russia too.

Do not understand why pcs are not thrown at patrick like candy. That part of his skating is undeniable...

Yay someone sees what i see it is everything on the pc side espeically since it wouldn't hurt Hanyu or others and if it did deservedly so. 5Patrick should at least here have the highest pcs maybe by say 2 pts over Hanyu who should be a good six or seven t pts over Brown uno and Javi who should be another five over the next group etc.

so before calling for embarrassment perhaps it would be intriguing to see who lowballed patrick's PCS... or same with Kevin ;)

Hey, I can say that was embarrassing and agree with Patrick's PCS being too low.

The problem is that Patrick got caught up in the big game. The big game being prop up Shoma and Javier. He had the unfortunate draw of not skating after both of them. Had he been after, I think his PCS would have been better but there we go. I hate all of this, I hate the games but we're stuck with it.

Shoma's real crackers are not the quads but the hard triple axel combinations he does later in the program. They are huge point bringers for him. And his triple axel is to die for. I just love that jump, and that he landed the combo tonight was just so amazing. Remember, it's the first time he got over 200 points....and he comes and gets 214. It's time to take him seriously.
I do take Shoma seriously, he's one of my favorites. But you can't deny he would have beat Yuzu given the circumstances if he landed the Lutz more cleanly.

Shona's triple Lutz received all -3s with one -2. He lost 2.10 on that. Plus the positive GOEs he would have gotten, that would be enough to beat Yuzu.
He needed 216, scored 214.
Just what if.........

There is no way Shoma beat Hanyu for the skate they put out. To be honest,Uno's jumps landings are so low and bizarre looking the GOEs are on the generous side big time already. I like his performance and skating skills, not his jumps

Yuzu gave credit to Boyang for doing the lutz and inspiring others to do what was thought impossible. And he complimented Jason .

I guess, but the scoring begs to differ.

so going against the stereotype, the German Judge gave the lowest scores to the German skater out of all the judges.

Germans are always afraid of being too nationalistic. I think it's hard for other countries to understand, but Germany is a country where 'national psyche' is always to put us down, because everyone is afraid of being connected to the horrible past. That's the reason and you can still see it still in all kinds of situations over 70 years later.

Again didn't watch live
Congrats to the medalists:agree:

Boyang's answers are lost in translation because the Chinese translator needs a translator.
If anyone can translate his answers from Press Conference, please help.

(His words are too difficult for my Mandarin level to comprehend the nuance of the meaning.)

3 men asked about quad and training plans. Yuzu woke up from his slumber and gave the longest, most fervent answer. Yes, figure skating is honored to have you.
