It's not a scored element in itself, but can be used as a transition or choreographic element. I'm not sure why the commenter thinks it's a waste of time? Hell, it was the best part of Shoma's Turnandot. Unless they're saying Julian's not utilizing it well? But they also say he's not artistic/musical in the steps and that's the opposite conclusion everyone here on GS came to, so I have no idea what this person was on about.

As someone who had been watching FS since the times of Arakawa, Lambiel and Pluschenko, I agree with everyone. I'm just guessing she doesn't really know much about the T/C elements. Yea, he needs a little improvement. But hella, he sold the house and literally someone in Twitter called him the "Darling of Helsinki"!

Six of the top eight with new PBs set today. Remarkable!

Anyone predict Yuzu and Nathan in 5th and 6th? It's going to be a heck of a free skate...

look at the final group guys. Shoma, Javi, Chan, Chen, Boyangman, Yuzu...one quad here, one quad there and anybody can possibly win!

After Boston's SP, we had two skater in 13 points. The rest was far behind.
This year, after the SP, we have 6 skater in 13 points, and the rest of the field is not that much behind (though with very little chance to medal, in comparison to the big 6). What a competition!!!

Yuzuru looks angry as hell. I think Nathan's going to put that 6th quad in his FS. I'm glad I'm not going to watch the free skate live, I sense so much blood will be spilt.
