2017 Worlds Pairs FS

Ok, whatever else happens S/H made my World Championships!! Lord please keep them healthy and please land the salchows at the Olympics!

Never thought of Bridge over troubled for free program. That got me teary until the every end.
Oh, and they even have the discipline to learn to speak Engish.

Great competition! Happy that S/H finally got the title after the year they had :)

So many of the pairs had something to overcome this year (injuries, illness, surgeries), so congrats to all for making it here and trying their absolute best :):hap36:

Congrats to all the medalists and especially to the winners. They're amazing!

So ecstatic for Sui/Han! They really pulled it together after the fall on the darn sal. Their quad twist and their smooth landings on the throws - plus the lead they had from the short - carried them to the top. It's been a long time coming. The battle between them and Bruno/Massot is going to be unreal next season!

I admit I'm cheering for Aliona very hard so this might not be fair from me. But I don't know...Chinese are amazing, great elements, but still there was a fall. Aliona and Bruno had small mistakes too, but I don't know if Sui/Han's SS are the same as Aliona and Bruno's. Maybe yes, I don't know...

Anyway still very happy for the first two pairs and especially for Aliona and Bruno, they skated beatifully and they improved from last year.

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, a deserved win by S/H, silver for S/M and bronze T/M!!!!!!!!!!! :hap93:

And now we all repeat: NO MORE INJURIES! NO MORE INJURIES!

Brilliant, brilliant performances from the top two teams in the FS. I haven't watched much skating this season, but I tuned in at the right time. Sui/Han being a longtime fave of mine, I am pleased as pie and happy as a clam that they won (mmm clam pie)! Congrats to Sui/Han, bridesmaids no longer! But congrats to Soprano/Massot, too! Savchenko and Szolkowy were faves back in the day, and it's amazing that Aliona is still competing and innovating!

Anyways, congrats to all the medalists, what a terrific event. S/H winning with the kind of season they've had has got to be one of the best stories of the season.
