I was commenting on Sui / Han! Someone needed to warn me about them. I almost had a heart attack from perfection!!!

that was something else than just a skate, just a performance
it was living out the music, all its nuances in every movement, a live illustration of perfect balance between technical prowess, maestry and liquid, seamless quality of a performance.
I got shivers from the first notes, the way they were in character, this ability to mold themselves in music, but still have so much of personality, character doing this...True artists of a form so restricted by rules and requirements, with such abandon, sass and poise.

Because Tatiana/Maxim hold the best scores.
Zabiako/Enbert have quite a low BV in the free program. They have enough "big" elements for the short, but end up using SBS doubles in the free.

WRs in all other disciplines have been broken multiple times since that season. Crazy...
I never really loved Masquerade Waltz as much as others did.
I don't mean to grouse, but S/H would have WR if they were from Russia/Canada/US/Japan.....

Looking back at that clip now it was obvious that Sui was a diva in waiting. Most Chinese Pairs girls are introverted and don't show much emotion or personality but Sui did from the very start. Age took care of the rest and now she's a chic fierce young woman.

The Judges need to leave some room - after all there are 2 RUS pairs in the next group! With the scores we are seeing so far is it possible that the World Champs form the last 2 years may not even be in the final group for the free. Any little slip from them and D/R could find themselves down around 8th or 9th place!

Well how to say it, the WR they gave out for pairs during 2014 Olympic season was just too much over the top, so it's extremely difficult for judges to top that. Next season they might break it.
