2018-19 Japanese National FS Championships Ladies' SP

Clean 3A!

All jumps landed! Ayakaaaaa!

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING THIS WOMAN ALL THESE YEARS???!!!

I absolutely LOVED that!!!! :cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

And I am somebody who is hard to please when it comes to "Por Una Cabeza" routines, after seeing the bench mark that is Anna Pogo's 2016-17 SP to it.

:cheer: WELL DONE AYAKA-san!!!! :cheer:

Well, her combo is only 3S3T, and the toe looks UR in the replay. Plus levels and all that.

Oh no, Rin :sad21:

Great dress though, the underskirt rainbow sure looks nice when spinning :agree:

OK, continuing the Hosoda conversation

Because her ISU Bio is empty, I just looked at her Rink Results Bio:

http://www.rinkresults.com/skater?skater_id=3527

Now, I know this is probably not complete, but it looks like she has been competing at Nationals level for 10 years, but has never competed internationally.

Well, I think it is about time she did get some Senior B allocations. Because she is more than good enough to justify them!

EDIT: Just noticed, at the bottom of her ISU Bio it says she did the Crystal Skate back in 2009. And she finished 7[SUP]th[/SUP] out of 21, after being 8[SUP]th[/SUP] in each segment. (Results on Wikipedia)

Perhaps Universiade candidate?

Aww she messed up the last spin :hopelessness: Her coaches and her reaction are too cute though

I think this is the last season of Miyu....(oh, good she made it to FS!!)

OMG, Wakana :eeking: That was fantastic!

And damn, a Yamada student without any technique problem

Perhaps Universiade candidate?

Good idea. Reward her for her long service by giving her the chance to finally compete in a Major Championship, but not one where the results count towards slot allocations for next season.

But, the problem could be that there are plenty of other better-known skaters that would be eligible. And the Fed could use the Universiade as a consolation for them not getting onto the Worlds or 4 Continents teams.

It'll be interesting to see what happens.
