That was a lovely, lyrical skate from Sasahara. His FS was already one of the stand-outs at Western Sectionals for me.

Most skaters quit skating as they graduate from university. But there are some rare cases of continuation after graduating (like for Yamada who's skating now, Miyabi Oba on the ladies' side, and also Rika H. expressed that she'd continue after graduating.)

So I've never used liveqq before. It's telling me I need to 'click here to install the latest version of flash' etc. I definitely have the latest version of flash, because I downloaded it from the official adobe website. And it is definitely enabled on my chrome browser.
What should I do? Very hesitant to follow their link as I don't know the website.

How did you fix it, Tabsy? I think I have the same problem (I can't read Chinese, but I think that's what's happening)

If I remember correctly Yamada is a full-time bank employee and skating competitively at the same time. Impressive!

Now that is interesting. The Chinese stream I am watching has just died, and when he was fixing it, he opened the OK stream that we were talking about earlier, and is now re-broadcasting that.
So, during the ads, I think I will switch over to it, and watch the original stream rather than a re-broadcast of it.

If it helps, I have found that you have to close the treasure chest for the stream to start playing.
Warm-Up 2 has just started, and there are adverts on now.
So, I'm moving over to the Odnoklassniki stream.

That reminds me of something I have been wondering.
During the coverage of the ski jumping, David Goldstrom has frequently pointed out that the Japanese jumpers represent companies rather than clubs, and that once they retire, they are assured of a job with that company.
So, does the same happen in figure skating? For example, I see in the Entry Lists that:
- Koshiro Shimada represents Kinoshita Group
- Shoma Uno represents Toyota Motor Corporation
- Yuzuru Hanyu represents All Nippon Airways
- Marin Honda represents Japan Airlines
Does that mean that they will be working for those companies eventually?

I tried that, and updated Flash player, but no luck. Thanks anyway... it will have to be the dreadful Fuji TV stream again.
They're showing Takahashi! In practice he nailed 2/3 quad toes. He won't decide until the last minute whether to go for it or not.

If you're on Chrome, go to the i/lock/'view site information' icon in the upper left, next to the url, and it will display the permissions for the page. Next to 'flash' is a drop-down menu, change it from ask to allow and the stream will work.

You could try the Odnoklassniki stream. Because when the Chinese stream I was watching earlier started having problems with their source video, they opened up the OK stream and just started re-broadcasting it.
So, I decided that I may as well watch the original:

Unsurprisingly, the quality is a lot better on the original than on the re-broadcast version.
