2018-19 Japanese National FS Championships Men's SP

These were the only ones that worked for me (but they are for FujiTV, and won't cover the early part of the competition, I believe).

I didn't use the first one, only the second. There was a definite lag between video and sound (sound slightly ahead), and it kept freezing. I will try the first one today.

I understand Japanese, so I prefer to watch the TV broadcast without Chinese/Russian voiceovers. Fuji TV has the jump analysis tool as well, which is pretty cool.

If you check the ladies SP thread you'll find links to some Chinese/Russian streams, but none of them worked for me.

You'll already know this from watching it, but for the benefit of others just reading this now, it is actually the exact same stream that is embedded into those 2 pages.

On that mov3 page, any time I clicked the play button on what looked like the video, pop-up pages appeared. To watch the video, you actually have to click on the link below, which takes you to this page:

The quality is still a bit iffy (audio popping. Picture occasionally pixelating). So, if anybody knows of any better streams, please let us know.

Hmm, seems that there aren't any streams in good quality that actually show the competition. I'll come back for the last two groups.

Thanks everyone for your replys!
Luckily I got the Shot of Koshiro and Stéph in the kiss and cry.. what was fantastic... so it was at least half worth it to get up so early on a saturday...

anyone know his precise score?
I hope there will be videos of his program somewhere soon..

I live in Japan and even I don't know how to watch it unless you have a TV, which I don't. This is sad.

Gaah!!! He's messing about on the computer today again!!!

So, I switched to the further back Live QQ stream that lady_bee posted, and it turns out that it is using exactly the same stream as the page I was watching on. :bang: :bang: :bang:

Even though it meant I missed the whole of Sashahara's highlights, I've now switched to the Chinese guy.

Could the other streamer not have waited a few minutes until the interval to start futtering?! :drama:

Wait didn't Koshiro compete at Junior level in Japan? Can he do both junior and senior within the same year?

The top 6 in Junior comp will be invited to senior competition (except when they are still at novice level)
Only those invited to senior competition will be considered as representatives at JWC.

After G1:

G1
1島田 高志郎 Koshiro Shimada 80.46 (skated clean)
2 壷井 達也 Tatsuya Tsuboi 69.95 (step out with 3A)
3 佐藤 駿 Shun SATO 64.89 (landed 4T, but fall with 3A, and step out with combination)
4 笹原 景一朗 KEIICHIROH SASAHARA 60.94
5 山田 耕新 KOSHIN YAMADA 60.13

I am watching coverage at YouTube channel JPTThpost each skate about 5-10 mins after the live performance, in separate videos. It’s not live but it’s only a few minutes off and the video and sound qualgreat. Hard to know how long it will stay up.

Thanks!
Koshiro
(And other videos of G1 are already there by the same uploader!)

Now something's gone wrong with the Chinese guy's stream. And he can't get it back! :drama:

So I went back to the further back Live QQ stream, and it started going wrong momentarily, but that streamer sorted it out pretty quickly.

Still missed the start of R. Kobayashi's routine, but hey! At least I saw most of it.
