Peter Tchernyshev choreographed the FD for Stepanova/Bukin

"Tomorrow we start preparing for a new season in Novogorsk.The guys had a rest and on Monday go to the ice. as always, the program is ready, now we have to roll it in. Petya Tchernyshev has again appeared in the role of the director," Svinin said by phone.

Specialist noted that in the next season Stepanova/Bukin appear "in a different way." "It will be blues, but not slow, but very active, with fast pieces," - said Svinin.

He said that the short program will be delivered by another coach of the pair Irina Zhuk. "In general, the producers are the same as last season, we believe that we worked well," the coach added.

this could be good - I always like them more in 'upbeat'/vivid aesthetic, last season's FD was too cheesy and pretentious for me...

I agree, and their blues/hip hop SD was well-received by the judges so it seems like a logical choice.

Though, at the same time, one does have to ask, "Isn't a "fast blues" rather an oxymoron?"

So I'm optimistic, but I'm curious about the music.

I did have that thought too. Fast, intense blues... I said that to my Dad and he said, so they mean rock and roll?

Rock and roll would be good for Stepanova & Bukin. (Though no 4 edit mess like Tarasova & Morozov's free from last season).
